Buck Cooke, Executive Director of Pets Are Loving Support, brings over 20 years of professional experience in the fields of nonprofit organization management and higher education administration. In addition to his time at Jerusalem House, Cooke served as the Executive Director of Atlanta Pride Committee, Inc., for three and a half years. Cooke worked in student affairs administration at Auburn University Montgomery, Emory University, and Richmond, the American International University in London. While he worked in a variety of functional areas, Cooke spent the bulk of his higher education career advising sorority and fraternity communities, including 10 years at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
A native of Greer, SC, Cooke earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, and his Master of Science degree in Higher Education Administration from The Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL.
