LGBTQ+ rights, culture, and engagement in Atlanta have shifted dynamically within the last 30 years, and the Metro Atlanta Association of Professionals, has been part of the shift every stop of the way.
Please join MAAP on Saturday, February 1, for a networking brunch and an interview with MAAP President August Wogsland, President Emeritus Joshua D. Lorenz, and former President Brandon Hornibrook—hosted and recorded LIVE by MAAP Sponsor Meak Productions.
We’ll kick-off the morning at 10 a.m. with bagels, schmear, coffee (thanks to Emerald City Bagels) and mimosas as well as open networking. At 11 a.m., we’ll transition to our live interview, where key MAAP leaders will look back on the organization’s history since its founding in 1992 as well as share their vision for continuing to pioneer inclusion for our community.
During this event, we will also dedicate a special tribute to honor Allen Jones, the visionary who launched the Atlanta Executive Network (which later became MAAP) in 1992 and sadly passed away December 29, 2019.
