Atlanta, December 5th, 2014 – The Metro Atlanta Association of Professionals has successfully qualified the requirements to become a tax-deductible organization under the 501(c)(3) regulations. Donations made to the organization can be now considered tax write-offs, following MAAP’s new status.
“Achieving tax-deductible status for MAAP completes our final goal for 2014 and is a major accomplishment,” said Joshua D. Lorenz, President and CEO of MAAP. “The status is extremely advantageous for the organization and we expect to see major benefits as a result of this achievement.”
The 501(c)(3) status will allow MAAP to accept contributions and donations that are tax deductible to the donor.
Potential donors can go to www.maapatl.org/contact/ and click on the “Donate” button to make a tax-deductible donation to MAAP.
Lorenz also thanked The Law Office of Stephen M. Scriber, LLC for their hard work completing the paperwork required for the status.
